I can see why some people start painting and organizing their nursery early...my pregnant body is not as agile and enduring these days (and 11 weeks to go...it will only get worse!) After cleaning, taping, and painting the first coat of paint in the nursery, I am exhausted. My feet are sore and swollen, my arms hurt, and my back is killing me.
Mr.P was sad to let go of his office space, but since our house is only 2 bedrooms we had no choice but to turn the office into the nursery. The eviction warning has been up for months...and finally this weekend we finished the move out process. The office has been relocated to the basement (which we spent last weekend cleaning out).
The paint is a light tan/gray color, and it looks really nice with the new white carpet and white trim paint. Later tonight we'll paint the second coat of paint, and hopefully this week get the closet unit installed and wall decorations put up. My big sister is driving out at the end of the week with the nursery furniture.
As soon as I have the nursery all put together I will post pictures on here :-)
