Ahem. A short update.

So much has happened in the past 10 days, too much to write in one post. So I'll give a few highlights for those that are waiting on edge:

- The kidney tumor turned out to be benign - meaning, not cancerous. This was great news because it meant he didn't have kidney cancer, but bad because it didn't explain the symptoms and weight loss he had experienced during the past 6 months.

- Mr.P spent 8 days in the hospital, but is home now.

- He was diagnosed with a very rare auto-immune disorder.

- While he's still pretty sick and not out of the woods yet, he is much better and his disease is being closely monitored by doctors.

- My mother-in-law is a freaking rock star. I take back any mean thing I've ever said about her. Seriously, she is awesome. She was amazing during the week she was here. She watched the kids, she kept the house in order, she landscaped my yard! I love her and I truly appreciate what a kind, selfless, strong and amazing woman she is. Her Canadian accent doesn't even bother me anymore.

- I'm another year older. I've come to the realization, at the ripe age of 32, that birthdays after the age of 30 just don't mean much anymore. Sad.

- P5 is now sleeping in his crib in the room he'll share with M2. It is amazing.

More to follow in the next few days...
