M2 did well with her daycare transition last week. The first day she was really wide eyed watching the other babies and reacting when others were crying/screaming. By the end of the week she genuinely seemed to be having fun and interacting well with her teachers. I was feeling good about the decision to go back to work and I felt like the daycare environment was going to be good for helping with her development.
Unfortunately there is an issue that prevents me from going back to work today as planned (I'm under strict order not to discuss it.) We've already paid for daycare, so M2 is there today and I am going to take advantage of the time I have today to get some errands done and do some organizing around the house (though the weather today is really crappy - rainy and windy. I'm fighting the urge to be lazy and stay home watching tv shows that have piled up in my DVR que).
