When prayers are answered.

TGIF! Not only is it Friday, the end of a very long and stressful week, but everything is now falling into place. Wednesday we looked at a bunch of houses. We found one that we liked, but in hindsight I think what we liked about it was that is was nicer/better than all the other homes we saw that day but the location and neighborhood were not that desirable. Thursday we called about it and put in our application. The agent got back to us and said she would love to have us rent it and that she would prepare the lease and send it over on Friday.

Meanwhile we continued to look at places Thursday afternoon/evening and found an awesome house. No compromises with it - it's a great house, in a great location, and a great amount of space. We put in an application first thing this morning and got approved! We got the lease signed and now we will get the keys next Thursday on the 1st. We will likely officially move our furniture on Monday the 5th, so we have a bit more time to pack and organize. Our house sale is still set to close on the 9th so we will still have a good amount of overlap to move and clean out our house.

It's so true that things do work out in the end - the house we are renting is nicer and in a better location than the original one we loved early last week but lost because the owners were afraid our house sale would fall through. We feel good about where we are going, and excited for what is in store for our family. Being closer to Mr.P's work, closer to friends, closer to church, and closer to P5's therapy will make our lives a lot easier.
